Neate Builds

Jon Neate of Neate Builds served as General Contractor at 79 York St. He kept the project running on time and on budget, and contributed several of the design elements- including our large rounded custom-built banquette in the front window. Jon understands customer service and doesn’t rest until all the details are taken care of. The pride he takes in his work makes him paramount to a successful renovation. His on-going communication with our designer saved us considerable time and money. Most importantly, Jon is constantly thinking about how to improve all aspects of the job, and he catches mistakes before they happen. Absolutely invaluable!

Lori Clarke Interior Designs Inc.

Lori Clarke and Lee Shakotko of award-winning Lori Clarke Interior Design breathed life into our vision for 79 York. We asked for a clean, scandi-industrial design aesthetic, and they delivered beyond our expectations. From the full-wall Mazzuca mural to the gorgeous chandelier over our feature table, every detail was attended to, and any issues were dealt with swiftly (sometimes without us even knowing an issue had arisen!). With a focus on customer service, Lori Clarke Interior Design Inc. met our budget needs and provided us with options, staying within the framework of our personal preferences. The degree of engagement and a high level of communication between Lori and our contractor ensured a smooth (and fun!) process. We highly recommend Lori Clarke Interior Design Inc.

Fredericton Ventilation Contractors
The kitchen is the heart of a restaurant, and Adam Pollock of Fredericton Ventilation Contractors made sure ours runs cleanly and efficiently. Though we work on induction, we required a 10-foot hood and ventilation system in order to maintain a clean and comfortable environment in the restaurant. Adam sourced and provided exactly what we needed, and got it to Fredericton on a tight timeline. By working weekends and evenings, and communicating with our general contractor, Adam made sure to get the project done with minimum disruption to our downtown neighbours. Most importantly, Adam stands by his work and will be onsite to monitor and adjust his equipment as necessary. This guy gets the job done!

We knew we had a tough act to follow as the old bar top was concrete and drew a lot of attention;

sadly, it could not make the move. Max Greer of Max’ Custom Furniture built this beautiful 12-foot birch bar top for 79 York St and we couldn’t love it more! It has quickly become a focal point. Max stands behind his work and has helped us select the proper maintenance products to keep this bar top looking gorgeous, he even came over on the long weekend to show us how to use them.
